There are no shops or mini-marts in walking distance, but you can use the free motorcycle to explore the surrounding. The design of the houses is very open with no doors to lock in a very safe area. Your local host Made is a resident of the nearby village and if the timing is right, he loves to bring his guests to local ceremonies in the village. It’s a unique opportunity to experience Bali in a way that most tourists cannot. Stunning bamboo houses are also very known for overhanging net structures that can be used as a bed under the roof high up with beautiful views. You can spend your day lounging in the nets or choose to relax in your own private outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the rice fields. On request, guests can also arrange a time with the local healer in the village, who uses traditional healing methods and Reiki to help people overcome certain health challenges they are facing. There is also a small restaurant on the property that uses ingredients right from their fields.
